Registration Policy:

Students must register for a course at least 72 hours prior to the course date. Registrations less than 72-hours of the course, must register online or call the office. On-site Registration is not available. 

If you show up to a course without prior registration, you may be turned away. If we are able to accommodate you, there will be an additional $75.00 same day registration fee applied to your regular course fee. 

 

Students can register for classes online by clicking on the Register Online link on our home page, or calling the office 775-384-2248. If you need to mail in a check, complete the registration form located on each course flyer and mail it along with payment to our Indiana Field Office as shown on the flyer. 

 

Students will receive confirmation of enrollment and course related materials via email. Compliance with the registration policy ensures we are able to process your course completion cards and CE Certificates for distribution at the end of a course upon successful completion. 

 

 

Book Policy:

For  American Heart Association (AHA) courses, students are required to have a copy of the current  Student Provider Manual for use before, during and after each course (e-books are acceptable). Students must bring a copy of the Provider Manual to class. Student Manuals are available for purchase from the authorized AHA Distributors - refer to our EMS Books & Resources Page for the list of approved distributors. 

 

For all other courses, refer to the course description on our EMS Divison page for book and pre-course material requirements. 

Course Preparation Policy:

Students must complete any course pre-requisites including pretest and bring them completed to the course. Students in any refresher course must bring a copy of their current provider card to class for verfication purposes. 

Rescheduling Policy:

Students may reschedule a course once for a $50.00 fee with 7-days advaned notice, with less than 7-days notice the rescheduling fee is one-half the course fee. Cancellation the day of class or failure to appear results in a forfeiture of the course fees. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. 

Cancellation Policy:

Although it is not common practice, Snowy River EMS Productions reserves the right to cancel a course up to 5-days prior to the course date. Should we cancel a course date students will be given an option to reschedule into another course (no penalty) or have the registration fees refunded. 

 

 

AHA Disclaimer:

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all its courses: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and has developed instructor materials accordingly for this purpose. The use of these materials does not in anyway represent the American Heart Association's sponsorship of a course. Any fees charged for courses does not represent income to the American Heart Association. 

AHA E-Card Issuance:

Effective January 1, 2018 all American Heart Association Course Completion Cards will be issued as eCards. Students will receive an email from the AHA on how to access and download their card(s) within 7-days of course completion.

CE/Contact Hours:

CE/Contact Hours are available for EMT's, Paramedics, RN's, MDs and other allied healthcare professionals. CE/Contact hours vary by course and will be issued in accordance to course agenda and attendance hours. 

 

Snowy River EMS Productions LLC is an approved California EMS CE Provider # 600290.  Snowy River EMS Productions is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing Provider # CEP15433. 

CE/Contact Hour Certificates must be maintained for a period of four (4) years.
